Fulton County, Ga.’s state-of-the-art, zero-noise, zero-odor wastewater treatment plant has been recognized with multiple industry awards. The $137 million Johns Creek Environmental Campus design-build project was completed in only 40 months, and faced numerous requirements due to its proximity to local neighborhoods. The design features low-impact elements with extensive noise and odor abatement technologies, and will use membrane bioreactor technology to treat wastewater for non-potable reuse. At the time of its opening it was the largest MBR plant in the United States.
