Brown and Caldwell provided permitting, design, and engineering services for the 575-acre American Cyanamid Superfund Site. Brown and Caldwell designed a site-wide groundwater treatment facility on a small footprint to treat the contaminated groundwater with a flow capacity of 500-gpm. This highly complex, Superfund project was streamlined through regulatory management, an integrated constructability evaluation, and value engineering that will potentially save the client $5.5 million.
