Papers and Reports

Throughout the design of any complex project having many variables, there are often numerous changes that occur. One of the most challenging things for an engineer involved in such a project is to remain flexible enough throughout the design to adapt quickly to changes as they occur. During the course of the Walnut Valley Water District’s (WVWD) reclaimed water system design project, which lasted 3 years, many changes and delays took place from the conceptual design to finished contract drawings. This was due to a large extent, from starting a completely new water system and financial enterprise which could be run independently from WVWD’s existing operations.
