Digester gas or sludge gas is no longer a waste product. This formerly wasted resource takes on the value of the most expensive fuel that it can successfully replace. We all know how expensive gasoline is, and if the costs of readying digester gas for use as a fuel in a conventional automobile are reasonable, it follows that this might be the best use for the sludge gas when looked at from an economic standpoint.
