The condition of Lakeland, Florida’s concrete sewer had deteriorated to the point that emergency repairs to their Western Trunk Sewer were becoming standard operating procedure, thus, in 1988, engineers took a closer look at the problems–and recommended solutions. Two year later, the city’s longest interceptor was completely rehabilitated.
