Papers and Reports

Municipalities and utility districts across the nation are faced with an ever increasing variety of materials and methods that can be used for wastewater collection system renewal. Many methods have limited application based on local soils, groundwater level and, in some instance, proximity of experienced specialty contractors. Rehabilitation material and method decisions should be made well before construction and should be based on past performance. This paper presents the results of case studies that show how a “rehabilitation decision tree” is developed for specific locations. Attendees will be provided the tools necessary to implement site specific renewal decision trees.
