Analysis of alternative technologies requires a systematic and rigorous application of an “analysis method” in order to provide detailed and cost effective data for scientists, policy makers and industry. Such a method is described in this talk as a means by which a variety of environmental problems can be addressed where a thorough analysis of potentially viable technologies is desired.
