Toronto, June 12, 2023 — Brown and Caldwell is pleased to announce three award recipients at this year’s American Water Works Association’s (AWWA) ACE23, a premiere water industry conference held in Toronto.

George Warren Fuller Award: Dean Nakano, client services director, received the Hawaii section award, and  Kelly Comstock, environmental engineer fellow, received the Georgia section award. The prestigious AWWA George Warren Fuller Award recognizes distinguished service to the water supply field in commemoration of the namesake’s engineering skills and constructive leadership.

5 Under 35 – Outstanding Young Professional Award: Susan Mukai, senior principal environmental engineer. The award honors AWWA members younger than 35 who demonstrate outstanding service to their local sections or AWWA through leadership and participation in young professional programs.
