WALNUT CREEK, Calif., November 14, 2016 – Brown and Caldwell, a leading full-service environmental engineering and construction firm, today announced that design-build veteran Leofwin Clark has joined the firm as Vice President, Integrated Project Delivery, working in the company’s Denver office.
Clark joins BC as the company expands its presence in the integrated project delivery market, with multiple large design-build and program management projects underway.
“With more and more owners leaning on design-build and integrated project delivery for their major capital programs, it’s an exciting time to be in the environmental field and to join a company like Brown and Caldwell,” says Clark. “Their renowned technical team has a track record of exceptional client service and cutting-edge innovation.”
Clark brings over 25 years of experience focusing on project development for major municipal, federal, and private infrastructure projects, including design-build, design-build-operate, construction manager-at-risk (CMAR/CMGC), public-private-partnerships, and contract operations/privatization.
Prior to joining BC, Clark served as a Vice President and Sales Director for CH2M's water- and wastewater-related design-build market, where he played a key role in helping grow their water design-build business from less than $5 million annually to more than $350 million. He is currently serving as the Water Design-Build Council President, responsible for developing the annual strategic plan and managing the work of the Council and its standing committees.
“We are excited for Leofwin to enhance our team and help us greater position and diversify the company’s Integrated Project Delivery portfolio,” said Steve Gates, Brown and Caldwell senior vice president. “His expertise over a wide swath of clients and projects will position BC more forcefully and competitively in this quickly growing market.”
Clark received his master’s degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in New York and his Bachelor’s in Urban Studies from Columbia University. He can be reached at Brown and Caldwell’s Denver, Colo., office at (303) 239-5417 or lclark@brwncald.com.
