Brown and Caldwell, an engineering consulting firm creating and delivering water and environmental solutions, has moved to an expanded Chicago office to support long-term growth and more sustainable, efficient and climate-resilient water infrastructure and facilities.
The Chicago office, located in Accenture Tower at 500 W. Madison Street, Suite 3105, Chicago will serve municipal, federal and private sector clients across the Midwest with projects and plans related to designing, upgrading or managing wastewater, biosolids and energy, drinking water, and stormwater infrastructure. The firm also provides integrated project delivery services, including owner advisor, and industrial water, regulatory compliance, permitting, and remediation expertise. Chicago is among the firm’s 50 offices throughout North America and the Pacific.
Brown and Caldwell first opened an office in Chicago in 2020, and the firm’s Midwest presence dates to the mid-1990s. The new 5600 sq. ft. office more than doubles its previous space, allowing the firm to support greater collaboration among the more than 25 Chicago-based employees and accommodate future growth and additional services. Based on marketplace needs, Brown and Caldwell may hire more project managers, client service managers and other technical experts.
This expanded office demonstrates our growth and commitment to big water and environmental solutions for the City of Big Shoulders. There’s a lot of work to be done over the next decade to continue delivering reliable infrastructure to Chicago’s community and businesses. This expansion gives us the space to collaborate and hire talent, while also pulling from our deep bench of experts as we work together to transform engineering blueprints and plans into the water and environmental future of Chicagoland.”
