For Adam Ross, Brown and Caldwell’s (BC) Climate Change and Resiliency Leader based in Northern California, helping his local utility, the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer), with its waste-to-energy BioGen project brings his passion and purpose full circle. “For the first time ever, I get to turn my own poop into power, and that’s a pretty cool thing.” Very cool, indeed. As a curious and conscientious kid, he penned a winning career fair essay that predicted his path as an environmental engineer – first majoring in mechanical engineering, then landing a summer internship with his best friend’s dad at BC.Now, nearly four decades later, his passion for safeguarding the environment truly hits home.
